My friend is too old for a working holiday visa (>30) and is not looking to migrate. He is an IT professional and only wants to be in Australia for about 3-4 months but wants to be employed full time during that period. The Australian immigration website only seems to show info for their working holiday visa and for people who are planning permanent residency. Is there are middle way? What sort of visa should he get, does he need to find a job here before he arrives, does his employer have to sponsor him?

Planning on going down to AUS in January or February and live with my cousin while doing some sort of work while seeing the country. How long does it take to process a holiday work visa?

I inquired online about a flight to perth and found a stop in singapore which is attractive. Are there are destinations that are cheap to also stop at and enjoyable for a few days perhaps when booking a multi stop flight? For example I added bejing before singapore and noticed my flight cost when up from 500 to 1100 pounds, so not there!

I want to walk the Kokoda Track, although in my planning stages I’m having difficulty finding an airline or a means of travel from Australia to Papua New Guinea. I am based in Victoria, although don’t mind if departure point is Darwin, Cairns, Etc.
